Donor Privacy Policy
Sunrise Horse Farm, Inc., is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to providing a safe and positive experience for children and families. All donations received are used to further our mission and follow the policies outlined below.
Sunrise Horse Farm will not publish, post, distribute, share or sell, any personal information regarding donors to any outside individual or business, with the exception of those required by law.
With the donors written permission Sunrise Horse Farm may make acknowledgements by name and description of donation in certain printed material. These materials may include brochures, press releases, programs, or the organization’s website. A donor wishing to view samples of these publications may do so by contacting Sunrise Horse Farm via email or phone.
Donors who supply Sunrise Horse Farm with their postal or email address may be contacted periodically with information regarding Sunrise Horse Farm updates and upcoming events. Donors may request to be permanently removed from Sunrise Horse Farm's mailing list by contacting Sunrise Horse Farm. All requests to be removed from Sunrise Horse Farm's mailing list will be honored. Donors who supply Sunrise Horse Farm with their telephone number will only be contacted regarding donations they have made or to update contact information.
Sunrise Horse Farm will not engage in telephone fundraising activities.
Upon receipt, all monetary donations will be recorded and deposited according to accounting procedures. Unless specified by the donor, all monetary donations will be allocated to our general operating fund. This fund is used to pay for program expenses, horse care, and maintenance. All donor-designated restrictions will be honored and governed appropriately. All requests for donors to remain anonymous will be honored.
Sunrise Horse Farm, Inc., is a nonprofit organization classified as a 501(c)(3) by the Internal Revenue Service and contributions are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law. Receipts will be issued for all donations. Our federal tax identification number is: 65-1309953
Donation Refund Policy
Sunrise Horse Farm, Inc., a 501(c)(3) organization, may refund donations only in exceptional circumstances.
- Sunrise Horse Farm has exclusive discretion and right to accept a donation refund request received from the donor within five (5) days from the date the donation was made.
- A donor seeking a refund must do so by email to, sunrise_horsefarm@yahoo.com, within five (5) days of making the donation, and include the following information:
- Donor's name
- Date of donation
- Donation amount
- Reason for requesting a refund (i.e., incorrect amount, donor did not authorize the donation)
- Sunrise Horse Farm will evaluate each refund request on a case-by-case basis. Sunrise Horse Farm has the right to decline a refund request without establishing a reason.
- After five (5) days from the date the donation is made, the donor shall have no right to a refund.
All donations are gifts made voluntarily to Sunrise Horse Farm, Inc., a 501( c )(3) organization, with no conditions.
