Don Koeser - Two Rivers High School Transition Coordinator

It's hard to put into words exactly what I saw take place at Sunrise Horse Farm. I have seen hardened ED/BD students turn into caring and compassionate kids. I have seen students who are withdrawn open up and change their outlook on life.

The horses need love and care and it's the students who provide that for them. In return the students feel good about the help they are giving.

One of the students, Samantha H. had this to say about Sunrise Horse Farm: "I think it is a wonderful place for everyone. You can learn a lot about horses and there is plenty of things to do. You can learn to take care of horses and all of the different chores that go into keeping a farm running. You can also bond with the horses, which is an amazing experience in itself."
